Choosing to Forgive: Confront When Appropriate & Let Go of Control by Daniel Hayes

As imperfect people living in an imperfect world, we eventually confront in nearly every relationship the need to either extend or receive forgiveness. But when the wounds run deep, forgiveness doesn’t come easy.

In this sermon series, “Choosing to Forgive,” our Senior Minister, Daniel Hayes, will point us towards realistic hope and healing, in the midst of this brokenness. As we study what the Bible says on this vital topic, you’ll encounter the depths of God’s own mercy and discover how choosing forgiveness can free you from a painful past and propel you toward being all that God intends you to be.

In this lesson, we look at Matthew 7:12, Romans 12:18, Joshua 24:15, and Matthew 11:28-30 as we look at how to lovingly confront someone when we’ve been wronged, and how to let go of wanting to control that situation or relationship.
