Canyon is a community of faith gathered in northern Phoenix amazed at what God has done for humanity in His Son. Our response to all that God has done in history and is presently doing today is praising, loving and reaching as we grow into the likeness of our Savior. We believe that God is sovereign over all creation. We believe that Jesus is the Son of God and our Savior and Redeemer through his death, burial, and resurrection. We believe that God’s Spirit leads, seals, and comforts all believers. We believe we serve as holy priests offering Christ-approved lives up to God.
Our response to what God has done through Christ is dedication through baptism and worship in a community of believers who renew our commitment through weekly communion. We also submit ourselves to God through His Son as well as the body of Christ--the church, as we grow into the likeness of the Savior.
