Deacons are servants of the church and have a unique opportunity to serve others in ministry. Each of these men are great examples of what it means to be servant-leaders and are assigned specific areas of church life to maintain and grow. Here is some basic information about this group: Qualifications: I Timothy 3:8-12 contain the biblical qualifications for deacons. Responsibilities:- To hold to the deep truths of the faith with a clear conscience. (I Timothy 3:9)
- Tested and approved in servant-leadership and ministry (I Timothy 3:10)
- To develop a good standing and assurance of faith through serving others (I Timothy 3:13)
- Lead the various ministries of the church by organizing, equipping and meeting various needs.
