“All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.” ~ 2 Timothy 3:16-17
Our Bible classes will encourage and strengthen you in your daily walk of faith, help you get connected with others who will come alongside you for the journey, and increase your knowledge of our loving God and the good work He wants us to do. Below is a brief overview of the classes we typically offer on Sunday mornings. Be sure to also check out our Small Group Studies that meet at various days, times, and locations.
SUNDAY MORNINGS – 9:45 AM
Adults – God Looks at the Heart (1 Samuel)
Worship Center Auditorium
Led by Scott Neibauer, Jay Carter, and Wyane Atkinson
What does it mean to have a willing heart for God and live courageously? How can you be a good friend, a leader, a champion of the faith? First Samuel contains a verse that is often quoted: …For man looks at the outward appearance, but but the Lord looks at the heart (1 Samuel 16:7b). This study will examine the hearts of many of the individuals in 1 Samuel. As we study those that admirably honor God and those that fail His test, we will be encouraged to honestly evaluate our own hearts in light of God’s Word, and learn how to move forward.
Adults – Living a Life that Matters
Led by Don Morue, Steve Schmidlap, and Jeff Green
We live in a day and age when everyone seems to be “on edge.” As a result, many people are turning to the meaningless things of the world to try to ease the angst. This study will guide us toward a life that will really matter by studying the Psalms, Proverbs, and Ecclesiastes. What attitudes do we need to develop? What actions do we need to take? What habits do we need to engrain? A partnership with God now will equip us for a life that matters — both now and for eternity.
Jr. High & High School Students – God Looks at the Heart (1 Samuel)
Led by Bill O’Neill and Jeff Green
Our Junior High and High School students will also be going through this same 1 Samuel study the adults are working through. This will allow for some terrific opportunities outside of class time for parents and their teens to interact and discuss what they have been learning! Not only that, but 1 Samuel is also the topic for the next Leadership Training for Christ (LTC) convention. So this will give those students a head start on that material as well.
