CULTURAL APOLOGETICS: Finding God through Truth, Beauty and Goodness

In this class we will investigate the following three universal human longings: truth, goodness, and beauty. We will look at how these three longings can work together and point others to the Gospel and Christ. We will see how, as Paul Gould says, "Reason guides us on the quest for truth; conscience leads us to goodness; and imagination transports us towards beauty." What we will discover is that Christ is not just the ultimate goal of each of these longings, but He is also the ultimate source from which these longings spring.
This class airs live on Sundays at 9:30 AM (MST).

THE UNSEEN REALM

The supernatural world is prominent in many of today’s movies, television shows, novels, and the popular imagination. But some of what is presented as grounded in a Christian worldview is in fact far from that. This class will look at our supernatural realities as they really are presented in the Bible. This class is offered for both adults and junior high and high schoolers. We recommend participating in this class with your teen. This class airs live on Wednesdays at 6:30 PM (MST).
Our sermon series - Sundays at 10:45 AM (MST) - is on “Spiritual Warfare” and supplements this class.

POLITICS ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE

Have you ever wondered what role Christians should have in politics? Is there only one “Christian” position on political issues? Does the Bible teach anything about how people should vote? Is it right to disobey your government? This class will discover the answers to these questions. There won’t be Democrats or Republicans, just Christians trying to find truth in the Bible.

THE KING JESUS GOSPEL

Have we reduced sharing the gospel to simply a message of personal salvation? This class will look at the gospel that was preached by Jesus and the sermons in the Book of Acts, to uncover a true picture of all that “gospeling” is meant to be. The structure of this class is inspired by the book “The King Jesus Gospel” written by Scot McKnight.

FAITH/WORKS (BOOK OF JAMES)

In this study on the book of James we’ll learn that faith and works aren’t at odds with one another, but are two sides of the same coin.
