On Saturday, November 18, we will be preparing and serving a Thanksgiving Dinner in our auditorium for 25-30 foster children and 7 staff members of the Happy Acres Children’s Home. Dishes will need to be prepared at individuals’ homes and then brought to the Canyon Church building on that day. All food and helpers must arrive by 5:00 PM. The dinner will begin at 6:00 PM. The Happy Acres Children’s Home is a Christian group foster home. They are located off Happy Valley Road in the North Phoenix area, so this is an opportunity to fulfill needs in our neighborhood and support the foster care community.
