This summer, we invite you to engage in loving God with your heart, soul, mind, and strength (Luke 10:27) by trying out one of our new classes starting Sunday, May 7 at 11:00 AM, for adults, teens, and all ages of children.
Adults - Work & Worship - led by Shawn White in the Worship Center Auditorium. If you’ve ever wondered “Does my job really matter?” or if you’ve ever asked “Do I have to be in full time ministry in order to serve God?” - this class will help provide those answers and be an encouragement to you. Each week, this class will include study time as well as short interviews of individuals in our own church family - from young adults to retirees - as they share how their faith intersects with their daily lives.
Adults - End Times - led by Bob Carter and Jay Carter in Room 406. This study covers key ideas and highlights from the book of Revelation, Daniel and other scripture. Students will gain a foundational appreciation of God's plan for Israel, the Church and the events that culminate the end of the age. Class time will be supplemented with videos by Bible teacher Stephen Armstrong.
Youth (6th-12th Grade) - How to Read the Bible for Yourself - led by Youth & Family Minister, Carter Milam, in Room 407. Students will learn how to read and understand each genre of the Bible differently, how to break down complex passages, and put practices in place to help them appreciate simply reading the Bible.
Children (5th Grade to Newborn) - Classes are offered in the Children’s area of our Education Building. Please contact our Children’s Ministry Director, Emma Milam, with any questions.
Cradle Roll - is offered for babies up through 2 years of age.
Preschool & Kindergarten - this class utilizes the Hands-On Bible Curriculum. This quarter they will be covering Old Testament Stories: Hannah, Elijah, and Jonah
Elementary (1st-5th Grade) - these classes utilize the Gospel Project for Kids. This quarter they will be covering the Holy Spirit and the early church.
Our classes will help you learn to love God and his Word more and give you a chance to connect with other people. Please contact our Deacon of Education, Shawn White, with any questions about current and upcoming class offerings.
