Phoenix is a big and sometimes lonely city. Looking for a place to belong? We strive to be a welcoming oasis for all. We'd love to meet you.
Here are a few of our frequently asked questions:

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

Our church is located just off of the I-17 and Carefree Highway in the Tramonto area, on North Valley Parkway. We are in the Tramonto Crossing business complex, just past the fire station.

WHERE SHOULD I PARK?

Look for the “Tramonto Crossing” stone street sign to know where to turn in to our parking lot from North Valley Parkway. Our worship is held in Building 2, so we recommend a parking space by the north doors to that building, but you are welcome to park in any available spot in the business complex.

DO I HAVE TO CHECK IN?

No, unless you have children. We check in children (0 - 5th Grade) for their Bible classes and for Children’s Bible Hour.

What if I’m not sure about Christianity?

That’s why we’re here! You can explore faith at your own pace. We’re happy to walk alongside you and answer any questions or doubts you may have. No pressure!

WHAT IS YOUR WORShIP STYLE?

We will spend some time praising God through song, be led in prayer, and scriptures will be read aloud. We will take communion, have an opportunity to give if you are so led, and hear a lesson presented from the Bible. You’ll notice we sing acappella (voices only) which encourages equal participation from every worshipper. At our morning worship service we are led in song by a worship leader, with the assistance of a praise team.

DO YOU OFFER COMMUNION?

Yes! We offer the Lord’s Supper (Communion) every Sunday at all our worship services. All people of faith are invited to take the bread and wine (unfermented grape juice). Gluten-free communion bread is available - just ask!

WHAT WILL MY KIDS DO?

Canyon believes everyone is a part of our church family - young, old, and every age in between. So all children are invited to join their families for worship service. After communion, if you would prefer your child enjoy a lesson on their level, we offer the option of a Children’s Bible Hour on the first three Sundays of each month for children 3 years old through 3rd Grade. However, you are also welcome to keep your children with you for the remainder of the worship service.

If you need to attend to your infant or young toddler, there is a Cry Room available in the rear of the worship center, accessed from the north foyer, that has a changing table, child-size restroom, rocking chairs, and quiet toys.

We think that learning about Jesus should be fun and engaging at every age - so we also offer Bible classes for all ages of children while our adult Bible classes are also in session.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

There is no dress code! You’ll see lots of casual everyday clothes, while some people will be in business attire, while others wear t-shirts and jeans or shorts (especially in the summer). Please feel comfortable coming just as you are. You’ll fit right in!

DO YOU PROVIDE FOR SPECIAL NEEDS?

  • Our building provides full
    ADA/wheelchair accessibility.

  • We offer listening devices for the hearing impaired, which can be obtained at the sound booth in the back of our worship center.

  • Gluten-free communion bread is available
    - just ask an usher or greeter on your arrival.

  • Our Children’s Ministry tracks food allergies and provides accommodations for children with sensory needs.

HOW LONG IS THE SERVICE?

Our worship services run an hour, to an hour and a half, depending on the Sunday.
